Bach in the Dark in the Bush - Cello and Accordion - SOLD OUT!

Bach in the Dark is going out bush! For a special afternoon concert as part of the ‘Music at Mount David’ series, Rachel is joined by dear friend and accordion virtuoso, Anthony Schulz.

Maybe you’ve missed out on tickets in the crypt of St James, or nolan on lovel. Maybe you’re closer to the magical Mount David. Or maybe you can’t just get enough cello and accordion! (Is it possible??) We’d love to see you here instead…

If you’ve been to a cello and accordion ‘Bach in the Dark’ concert, you’ll know that you’re in for a concert that’s a little bit different – it’ll be an afternoon of great fun, fabulous music-making, a huge range of styles of music and two friends having the most wonderful time together making music that is very ‘in the moment’!

The program will include works by J.S. Bach (including a movement from the magnificent A minor violin concerto, arranged by Anthony), Bartok, Piazzolla (arranged just for Rachel and Anthony by  Guillermo Anad) and a new ‘Bach Construct’ written especially for these concerts by Sydney composer Richard Charlton.

Want to know more about Anthony? You can read all about him here

Want to hear the what the cello and accordion sound like? In 2014, Rachel and Anthony recorded ‘Little Birds’ and you can hear tracks from the album here

Contact Rod Tuson on rodtuson1@gmail.com or on 6337 9679 for more information about this special house concert. Ticket price (payable at the door) includes a glass of sparkling wine on arrival and high tea after the concert. You can also find ‘Music at Mount David’ on facebook here
