For the fourth and final program in the 2019 series, Rachel is joined by former teacher and dear friend (and cello great!), David Pereira. If you’ve been a concert with David and Rachel before you’ll know that you’re in for a night of great musical conversation! A critic said that Rachel and David’s playing “has the feel of a celebration, of untempered, free and loose-limbed music-making, where lines are shaped by boldness…”
PLEASE NOTE: This concert starts at 8pm, rather than the usual 7pm.
The program will include works by J.S. Bach, a piece written especially for the concerts by David Pereira, some duos by Béla Bartók and some musical surprises!
Looking for somewhere to eat before or after the concert? The fabulous Subsolo Spanish Restaurant and Bar just down the road on King Street is a supporter of ‘Bach in the Dark’. When you book, tell them that you are a concert-goer, and they will give you a 25% discount off your bill up to a maximum value of $40.00. Dinner sorted!
