Rachel is delighted that for the first live concerts for the year she’ll be joined by old musical friends (and audience favourites!) the Choir of St James, organist Marko Sever and their conductor, Warren Trevelyan-Jones.
This concert will be in the church of St James (not the crypt), so there will be lots of room for everyone to enjoy the spectacular acoustics of Sydney’s oldest chuch! The concert will include works by J.S. Bach, Joseph Haydn, Norwegian composer Ola Gjeilo and Australian composer Joseph Twist.
There will be music to lift your soul, music to make you smile, and music to make your heart beat a little slower – something for everyone!
Tickets to this concert will go on sale at 8pm, on Saturday January 14. Ticket sales will STOP at 2pm on Sat Feb 4th, and if there are remaining seats, tickets will be available at the door. An electronic program will be emailed to all ticket holders by 3pm, but if you would prefer to have a paper program they will be available as you enter the church.
Want to hear the choir now? Just go here – and enjoy their beautiful music-making!
