Bach in the Dark is delighted to be playing in Picton again! Thank you to the ongoing support of the ‘Classics at Picton’ committee for helping this happen in 2024 – it’s so appreciated!
The beautifully intimate space of St Mark’s will be filled with the sounds of two low instruments – imagine the difference between single and double cream…. It’s a fabulous combination! Rachel and Ben were going to play live in 2020, and then COVID happened – now they are planning to do it all over again (but of course with a slightly different program…).
The program will include some Bach (of course!), some Bach-inspired bluegrass (I kid you not!), a re-working of Bach’s ‘Crab’ canon by M.B. Sibson and a few other musical surprises! It’ll be a night to make you smile, sigh with pleasure and tap your toes – all at different times!
The church will be open at 6.30pm, and a glass of wine (or non-alchoholic equivalent) will be offered to every patron.
This concert will be hosted by ‘Classics at Picton’ and tickets will go on sale closer to the date. For any more information about this concert, please contact Geoff by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
