Bach in the Dark is going back to the beautiful octagonal exhibition space at the Bungedore Wood Works Gallery!
For the fourth and final program in the 2019 series, Rachel is joined by former teacher and dear friend (and cello great!), David Pereira. If you’ve been a concert with David and Rachel before you’ll know that you’re in for a night of great musical conversation! A critic said that Rachel and David’s playing “has the feel of a celebration, of untempered, free and loose-limbed music-making, where lines are shaped by boldness…”
The program will include works by J.S. Bach, a piece written especially for the concert by David Pereira, and duos by Boccherini and Offenbach.
Want to know more about David? You can read all about him here…
In 2016, Rachel and David recorded a CD called ‘Dreaming with Daisy’. Want to hear the two friends playing together? Just go here…
The ticket price includes a glass of champagne on arrival, and the Wood Works Café will be open from 6pm for dinner service. For more information and to book tickets, contact Mahala on gallery@bwoodworks.com.au.
