From Rosie Gallager, Artistic Director of Noctiluca Arts….

Please join us at 7:00pm, Friday July 14th at Hayes Street Studio! Our programme of chamber music for flute, piano and cello features the dynamic cellist Rachel Scott, known for her Bach in the Dark series, who will join Lee and Rosie.

After a sip of bubbly, the chilly night outside will fade as our music begins on the vibrant streets of Brazil, folky melodies that fly up into the sky to new discoveries, rays of light strung inside the piano; cue Lei Liang. Rachel will take us to the centre of Australia with a newly composed piece called Uluru for singing cello by Martin Wesley-Smith, and the familiar whistle of a Blackbird, singing in the dead of night, will flit about.
